Tenza Flour Mills Ltd is a growing milling company dedicated to providing high-quality wheat flour to the market. We are expanding our operations and are looking for a skilled Procurement Officer to manage our sourcing needs efficiently.
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Wheat Grain Procurement Officer to help us secure affordable and reliable wheat grain suppliers while ensuring cost efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and connect with cheap and reliable wheat grain suppliers.
- Negotiate favorable terms and prices for bulk wheat purchases.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a steady supply of quality wheat.
- Monitor market trends and explore cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities align with the company’s budget planning and savings strategies.
- Work closely with management to streamline the supply chain and minimize costs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the milling or food industry.
- Strong connections with wheat grain suppliers (local and international).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a budget and achieve cost savings.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
