Job Summary:   We seek a proactive Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and streamline operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in vehicle sales, logistics, and team leadership. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, optimizing CRM systems, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales and finance teams.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Sales Strategy

  • Oversee and mentor the sales team to meet/exceed targets.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to address market challenges.
  • Set clear KPIs and monitor team performance.

Client Acquisition & Retention

  • Identify and onboard new clients while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Build and maintain a robust CRM system to track client interactions and sales pipelines.

Operational Excellence

  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely balance payments.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Assign tasks, conduct follow-ups, and ensure accountability.

Problem-Solving & Innovation

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies.
  • Resolve customer complaints and enhance satisfaction.

Compliance & Training

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and import/export regulations.
  • Organize training sessions to upskill the sales team.

Logistics Coordination

  • Work closely with logistics partners to ensure timely vehicle delivery.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years in vehicle sales and logistics, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset.
  • Trustworthy with a history of meeting aggressive sales targets.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Existing network in automotive/logistics industries.
  • Knowledge of Uganda’s import regulations and market trends.

 

Salary & Benefits

Gross Salary: UGX 1,000,000 per month.

Commission: Competitive percentage on achieved sales.
