Job Summary: We seek a proactive Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and streamline operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in vehicle sales, logistics, and team leadership. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, optimizing CRM systems, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales and finance teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Sales Strategy
- Oversee and mentor the sales team to meet/exceed targets.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to address market challenges.
- Set clear KPIs and monitor team performance.
Client Acquisition & Retention
- Identify and onboard new clients while nurturing existing relationships.
- Build and maintain a robust CRM system to track client interactions and sales pipelines.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely balance payments.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Assign tasks, conduct follow-ups, and ensure accountability.
Problem-Solving & Innovation
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies.
- Resolve customer complaints and enhance satisfaction.
Compliance & Training
- Ensure adherence to company policies and import/export regulations.
- Organize training sessions to upskill the sales team.
Logistics Coordination
- Work closely with logistics partners to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years in vehicle sales and logistics, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset.
- Trustworthy with a history of meeting aggressive sales targets.
- Preferred Skills
- Existing network in automotive/logistics industries.
- Knowledge of Uganda’s import regulations and market trends.
Salary & Benefits
Gross Salary: UGX 1,000,000 per month.
Commission: Competitive percentage on achieved sales.
