Job Title: Professor in Finance and Accounting

Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) is a faith-based private University owned by the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The candidate should have a PhD or equivalent in Finance or Accountancy from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- S/he should have a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management or any other related discipline from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
- S/he should have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce /Business Administration and Management / Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting or any other related discipline from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
- S/he should have three years’ experience as Associate Professor.
- S /he should have evidence of scholarship and research in the area.
- S/he should be a member of either the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
- S/he should have evidence of engagements and recognition with the professional and other communities.
- S/he should have experience in research supervision at both Masters’ and PhD Levels. • Teaching subjects: Business Policy, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Advanced Accounting, Public Sector Accounting, Financial Analysis and Decision Making and Auditing.
