Job Title:  Logistics Document Personnel   

Organisation: Huaye International Logistics Company Limited

Duty Station: Namanve, Mukono, Uganda

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing and organizing various logistics documents, such as invoices, bills of lading, shipping slips, customs documents, and packing lists.
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Coordinating with shipping lines, customs agents, and other relevant parties.
  • Tracking shipments and communicating updates to clients.
  • Handling claims with insurance companies if any shipment problems occur.
  • Ensuring all details in import/export documents are checked and are as per contract requirements.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics, Business Administration or any other related field
  • At least 1 -2 years of working experience as a Logistics Officer or a similar role.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
  • Good organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer usage and Google applications.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time efficiently with a professional Approach.
  • The ability to overcome obstacles to solve problems to achieve results.
  • A personal commitment to continuous self-development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
