Job Title: Logistics Document Personnel

Duty Station: Namanve, Mukono, Uganda

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and organizing various logistics documents, such as invoices, bills of lading, shipping slips, customs documents, and packing lists.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Coordinating with shipping lines, customs agents, and other relevant parties.
- Tracking shipments and communicating updates to clients.
- Handling claims with insurance companies if any shipment problems occur.
- Ensuring all details in import/export documents are checked and are as per contract requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics, Business Administration or any other related field
- At least 1 -2 years of working experience as a Logistics Officer or a similar role.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
- Good organizational and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of computer usage and Google applications.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time efficiently with a professional Approach.
- The ability to overcome obstacles to solve problems to achieve results.
- A personal commitment to continuous self-development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
