Job Summary:   The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all guest rooms and common areas, ensuring guests experience the highest level of detail and luxury.

Lavista Residences is seeking a dedicated and professional Housekeeper to join our team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Guest Room Cleaning:

• Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces, and replenishing amenities.
• Attend to specific guest requests regarding room setup, including special arrangements for honeymoon suites or VIP guests.
• Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and report them promptly.

Reception and Guest Service:

• Welcome guests and facilitate check-in and check-out services.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns regarding cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide information about residence amenities and services as needed.

Linen and Laundry Management:

• Collect soiled linens and towels from guest rooms.
• Sort and deliver linens to the laundry department.
• Ensure proper linen inventory levels in guest rooms.

Public Area Cleaning:

• Clean and maintain common areas such as the lobby, hallways, stairs, elevators, and guest lounges.
• Dust decorative items and furniture.
• Polish surfaces and maintain the overall aesthetic of public spaces.

Attention to Detail:

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation in all areas, adhering to the residence’s unique style and decor.
• Regularly inspect rooms and public spaces for cleanliness and tidiness.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Cleaning Expertise: Proven experience in housekeeping with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and techniques.
• Attention to Detail: High level of focus on maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards, especially in a refined boutique environment.
• Communication Skills:
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Teamwork:
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff and departments.
• Additional Desirable Skills:
• Specialized Cleaning:
• Experience cleaning intricate fixtures, high-end artwork, or unique furniture in a boutique hotel environment.
• Guest Experience Focus:
• Providing additional guest-centric services like turndown service, personalized room arrangements, or special amenity setups.
• Knowledge of Local Culture:
• Understanding the local aesthetic and incorporating it into housekeeping practices to enhance the guest experience.
