Hofokam Ltd, a leading credit only microfinance institution head quartered in Fort Portal city and operates throughout western Uganda and with a plan of scaling up to cover the entire country. Hofokam invites qualified and reputable suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of firewall solutions to support its network security operations.
The selected supplier will be required to supply and deliver a Sophos Firewall that meets the following minimum specifications:
- Model: Sophos XGS Series (or equivalent)
- Throughput: Minimum 10 Gbps Firewall Throughput
- VPN Support: SSL & IPSec VPN Capability
- Interfaces: Minimum 8 x 1GbE Ports
- Security Features: Advanced Threat Protection, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Web Filtering, Application Control
- Subscription: Minimum 1-Year Full Security Subscription
- Warranty: Minimum 3 Years On-site Support
Eligibility Requirements
- Interested suppliers must submit the following documents:
- Company Profile
- Certificate of Incorporation/Registration
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Trading License
- Manufacturer Authorization (if applicable)
- References from at least three clients for similar supplies
Submission Guidelines

Quotations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Compliance with technical specifications
- Price competitiveness
- Delivery timelines
- Warranty and after-sales support
Deadline: 6th February 2025 by 5:00pm
