Hofokam Ltd, a leading credit only microfinance institution head quartered in Fort Portal city and operates throughout western Uganda and with a plan of scaling up to cover the entire country. Hofokam invites qualified and reputable suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and implementation of cloud solutions to support its operations.
Scope of Work
The selected service provider will be required to design, implement, and configure a Cloud DR environment that meets the following minimum specifications:
- Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
- Replication Mechanism: Continuous Data Protection (CDP) with minimal Recovery Point Objective (RPO).
- Failover & Fallback: Automated failover and seamless failback capability.
- Security: End-to-End encryption, Multi-Factor Authentication (MIA), and Compliance with industry standards.
- Storage Capacity: Scalable cloud storage with a minimum of 10TB.
- Compute Resources: Virtual Machines (VMs) capable of running critical business applications.
- Monitoring & Reporting: 24/7 monitoring with real-time alerts and periodic reporting.
- Support & Maintenance: Minimum 3 years of managed support services.
Eligibility Requirements
- Interested service providers must submit the following documents:
- Company Profile
- Certificate of Incorporation/Registration
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Trading License
- Cloud Service Provider Partnership Certification (if applicable)
- References from at least three clients for similar services

Quotations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Compliance with technical specifications
- Price competitiveness
- Delivery timelines
- Warranty and after-sales support
