Job Summary:   We are seeking an analytical, results-oriented, and self-driven individual with knowledge and training in Management, Systems, Strategy, and Advisory services to join our team at CERFODES Uganda. As an Associate Consultant, you will contribute to a wide range of projects across industries and gain valuable experience in business analysis, process improvement and change management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation, supervision, and review of concept notes, pre-qualification documents, expression of interest documents, and proposals.
• Track and follow up to ensure that all submissions are made ahead of time.
• Execution of all client assignments/projects assigned to by the supervisor: The tasks to be undertaken may include but not limited to the following;
• Collaborate with the consulting team to identify clients’ business challenges and contribute to the development of solutions.
• Assist in data collection through Interviews, surveys and data analysis.
• Provide support to senior consultants in the planning and execution of consulting projects.
• Assist in project management tasks, including coordinating meetings, tracking project timelines, and managing project documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to understand client needs and objectives.
• Support in the preparation of client communications, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations as needed.
• Stay updated on Industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Provide support to other departments/Units either in bid preparation related activities or project implementation related activities whenever required.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Law, Engineering, Social Sciences or related course. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in a consulting firm or with a multi-disciplinary team is desirable.
• Strong research, analysis, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
