Job Title: Accountant

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in a high-technology and result-oriented environment that uses data in decision-making to derive efficiency.
- Handle bookkeeping both for the local company and other subsidiaries.
- Analyze, and present summarized accounting information
- Monitor actual transactions against budget and prepare budget versus actual analysis.
- Prepare routine and monthly bank and wallet reconciliation of all the bank and wallet accounts
- File and payment of PAYE, WHT, NSSF & LST on a timely basis.
- Maintain the petty cash system as per the defined Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Assist in the procurement process and ensure timely delivery of the procured items
- Assist in other finance and accounting duties as may be required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in the use of SAGE financial management system and Google Suite is an added advantage
- At least intermediate Excel skills is a must for this role
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, BBA & BCOM plus at least Level III CPA is a must.
- 3+ years of experience, including experience in microfinance or other financial institutes is an added advantage
- A technology-oriented individual with a solid understanding of financial management and accounting.
