Job Summary: Almansoori Petroleum Services is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team for an exciting upcoming project in Tilenga. We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Key Duties and Responsibilities: As a Surface Well Testing Assistant Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting field operations and ensuring the smooth execution of surface well testing activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing Company policies and procedures in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ).
- Assisting the Operator in checking equipment for damages during transit.
- Rigging up/down equipment as per instructions.
- Conducting daily maintenance as prescribed in the maintenance manual. and recording it.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of tools, equipment, and machines.
- Building and maintaining healthy professional relationships with colleagues and supervisors
- Adhering to agreed work and leave schedules during base and field operations.
- Maintaining effective communication with the Company representative to prioritize and safely execute job activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
Skills and Competencies Required
- Qualified candidates should possess the following:
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance
- Strong mathematical skills
- Knowledge of basic Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality systems
- Basic report writing skills
- Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment optimization.
