Job Summary: We are seeking dynamic, self-driven, passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Sales Agents. This is a full-time hybrid role for an Insurance Sales Agent at Prudential Uganda in Kampala, with flexibility for some remote work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales and marketing of Prudential Assurance insurance services
- Provide customer service to existing clients
- Offer Insurance brokerage services to existing and potential clients
- Market Research and Analysis: Staying informed about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to better tailor sales strategies.
- Sales Reporting: Keeping accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Reporting performance metrics to management.
- Product Knowledge: Staying updated on the company’s products or services, including new releases, updates, and best practices for usage
- Compliance and Ethical Standards: Adhering to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Collaboration with Team Members: Working with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
- Training and Development: Continuously improving sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least a Diploma or equivalent experience in Sales, Marketing, or any business related field
- Customer Service skills
- Sales skills
- Experience in Insurance and Insurance Brokerage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of insurance products and services
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Previous experience in sales or insurance industry is a plus
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
