About the Company:
The Mukwano Group of Companies is the leading manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the Great Lakes region, producing a wide range of market leader brands in soaps, edible cooking oils and fats, detergents, beverages, personal care products and plastics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all stock-related operations, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.
- Supervise stock team to ensure timely and accurate stock receiving, organization, and stocking.
- Monitor product stock levels and communicate with the store manager for reorders or stock adjustments.
- Ensure stock rotation is done regularly to maintain freshness and minimize product obsolescence.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure products are readily available on the sales floor.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient storage space.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of seasonal and promotional stock setups.
- Train and supervise stock team members, ensuring adherence to stock management procedures.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to stock counts or product availability.
- Any other duties assigned by the Outlet Sales Manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration or any other related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience is required
