Job Title: Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

XiMing Group is a finance company that hires accountants to maintain financial records and perform other accounting tasks.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting and Operations to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, operations, and hands-on experience with Tally ERP. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial performance reports.
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Manage and review journal entries, ledger accounts, and trial balances.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing returns, and handling audits.
System Management:
- Utilize Tally ERP for bookkeeping, invoicing, and inventory management.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members on using Tally effectively.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve internal controls and operational efficiencies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to support business operations and budgeting.
- Assist management with cash flow forecasting and cost control initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP is mandatory.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Other Preferences:
- Experience in managing a team or mentoring junior accountants is a plus.
- Background in a trading or distribution business will be an advantage.
