Job Summary: The Head of Institutional Banking will oversee and grow the institutional banking portfolio, focusing on large corporate clients. The position involves providing customized financial solutions, building long-term relationships, and driving profitability in line with the bank’s goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the institutional banking strategy to grow the portfolio.
- Build and manage strong client relationships with large corporate institutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide innovative and tailored financial products to meet client needs.
- Monitor credit risks and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated financial solutions to clients.
- Drive revenue and profitability while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA is an added advantage).
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Corporate/Institutional Banking or Relationship Management.
- Excellent understanding of corporate banking products, including loans, trade finance, and treasury services.
- Proven ability to manage large accounts and meet revenue targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
