Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

NFT Consult Limited is a business process outsourcing firm with offices in Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Botswana Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Burundi and South Sudan.
Job Summary: The General Ledger Accountant will be in charge of fixed asset and inventory management, among other responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include balance sheet substantiation, fixed asset management, and inventory management.
- Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger.
- Receiving financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts.
- Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards.
- Generating reports.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Strong accounting knowledge (GAAP/IFRS), experience with ERP systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferably an audit background.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the same field.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience with account reconciliation.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Excel.
