Job Summary: The role holder is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the company’s fleet, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. This role involves overseeing vehicle maintenance, rider & driver training & testing, compliance with regulations, monitoring fuel consumption, and implementing strategies to enhance overall fleet performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Fleet Management: –
- Oversee the company’s fleet of vehicles and bikes
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations and reduce costs.
Vehicle Maintenance: –
- Coordinate regular maintenance and repair activities for all fleet.
- Schedule inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles & motorbikes are in optimal condition.
Compliance: –
- Ensure compliance with company & government regulations regarding vehicle & motorbike operation and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to vehicle & bike inspections, registrations, and permits.
Budget Management: –
- support in the development and management of the fleet budget
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to control expenses.
Fuel Management: –
- Monitor and analyze fuel consumption patterns.
Vehicle Acquisition: –
- Assess the need for vehicle replacements & share reports
Data Analysis and Reporting: –
- Collect and analyze data on fleet performance, expenses, and efficiency.
- Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Vendor Management: –
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
Safety and Training: –
- Implement safety protocols and training programs for drivers & riders.
- Investigate and address safety incidents or violations promptly.
Technology Integration:
- Implement technology solutions for fleet management, such as GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management software.
Staff Accountabilities; –
- Assist in verification of receipts submitted by staff for accountability purposes.
- Assist in verification and tracking of PJPs.
- And any other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experienced & licensed driver
- At least 1 year proven experience in fleet management or a related role.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and compliance regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with fleet management software and technology.
- Ability to Multi-task
