Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa and Eastern Europe.

 

Job Summary:  To collect, manage, and process clinic data, ensure accurate data entry, reporting and contribute to maintaining data quality and confidentiality in line with clinic requirements and M&E guidelines.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Timely collection of data at COE and different wards at Mulago NRH and entry in EMR system
  • Support compilation and submission of periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) from source registers and electronic data bases at the clinic.
  • Conduct regular data cleaning and validation to identify and rectify inconsistencies, missing data, and errors, ensuring that the data is reliable and can be used for decision-making.
  • Support records management through filing, retrieval and archival of patient records at Baylor COE clinic
  • Build capacity of staff in data collection and capture in EMR systems though training and mentorship.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data privacy policies, ensuring the security of sensitive patient data and compliance with national and international standards.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • Diploma in Records Management, Computer Science, IT or another related field.
  • Work experience of at least 1 year experience in managing HIV data.
  • 1 Years Relevant Experience
