The Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) is coalition of 100 Organizations, established in 2004 to influence Government decisions on resource mobilization and utilization for equitable and sustainable development. Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting equitable and accountable budgeting processes in Uganda.
Job Summary: CSBAG seeks to recruit 1 Assistant Field Officer Yumbe. He/she will provide support to the organization.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Possess a Bachelors Degree or its equivalent in Development Studies or similar study areas.
- A minimum of at least 2 years experience working in community-based advocacy programs in the humanitarian sector in Disaster Risk management
- Experience in community training and mobilization is an added advantage.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills, including relationship building, presentation skills, and partnership development between CSOs and Government.
- Ability to undertake local government budget analysis and performance assessments.
- Fluency in English and the local language (A must).
- Good computer skills in Windows environment, knowledge of internet communications and Microsoft Office applications.
- A recommendation letter from LC I Chairperson.
- Must be resident in Yumbe District
