Job Summary:   To provide leading Cash Management sales solutions through strategic formulation and execution of Cash Management product and service sales programs.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales performance (70%)        

  • Manage Cash transactions in collaboration with the Relationship Managers in Retail and Business Banking.
  • Understand the market in terms of size, share, structure, potential, customer segmentation, buyer behaviour and competitor analysis within the country and region for cash management products.
  • Segment each client/prospect based on anticipated need and forecasted growth potential and agree on annual client sales objectives and action plans with Relationship Managers for all ‘Priority Clients’ and review progress quarterly.
  • Win new client mandates, expand existing relationships, and protect current business flows.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships too drive new businesses from the market and sustain cash management income.
  • Develop sales pipelines of Cash related business in line with overall Account Plans while focusing on customers, competition, revenue growth, product life cycle and service.
  • Maintain accurate ‘Cash Maps’ for all ‘Priority Clients’ as new information is identified during the sales process.
  • Provide support for approvals for concessionary pricing of cash management products to business units and operations.
  • Provide necessary support to the Relationship Managers through sales designing sales materials and driving cash management sales.
  • Gather market intelligence on a continuous basis and leverage information to ensure that the Bank remains competitive from a pricing and product perspective.
  • Organize sales programs to both staff and customers for growth and product penetration of the portfolio, identify new business opportunities and cross sell other key banking products.

Customer Service (10%)

  • Monitor progress of all implementations and provide appropriate support to ensure all client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Implement a team culture that focuses on customer service and service delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate cash management client engagement efforts across relevant business units (when applicable) by ensuring that individuals are clear on their contribution and expected outcomes.
  • Participate in customer surveys (internal and external).
  • Develop links with other related departments and product areas to maximize cross-selling opportunities and client solutions.

Teamwork (10%)

  • Monitor progress of all implementations and provide appropriate support to ensure all client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Develop links with other related companies and product areas to maximise cross selling opportunities.
  • Attend selected seminars and conferences to promote cash solutions to targeted customers and prospects.
  • Coach and up skill team members regarding cash products as opportunities present themselves.

Compliance, Governance and Control (10%)

  • Update risk assessment reports on Cash Sales Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures on provision of services through agents.
  • Appraisal of agents to establish their potential based on KYC procedures, financial ability, business prospects, personality, social standing in the community and other criteria as shall be established from time to time.
  • Any other duties that maybe assigned to you from time to time by the Bank.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Education

Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
