About Organisation:
Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO) is an indigenous Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Uganda NGO Board and is committed to improving the quality of life of orphans and other vulnerable children.
Job Summary: To drive sustainable financial growth through developing new income projects, boosting revenue from existing projects, and forging strong relationships with clients and financers. You will be based in Kampala (Head Office), with frequent travel to project sites in various districts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and implement a Marketing Business Development plan.
- Conduct research to identify new projects and client needs.
- Implement strategic projects.
- Prepare and submit high-quality concept notes and business plans for various projects.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and financers.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives. · Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Keep records of contracts, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable project developers and managers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in any business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience
- 3-5 Years experience in sales, business development, marketing, or related field.
Technical skills required
- Proficient in computer skills – Microsoft office packages
- Training & Problem-solving skills.
- Managing skills; Planning, organizing, controlling & decision making
- Sales & Negotiation Skills
- Project planning and management skills
Behavioral skills
- A high level of integrity
- Should be self-motivated with high-level initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate, team-oriented, r/ship, and monitoring skills.
- Ability to lead & coordinate.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
