Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate individual who excels in connecting with people and providing exceptional customer care. If you are a natural at motivating others to improve their lives, we invite you to join our team as a Business Development Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in linking our sustainable urban farming solutions to the appropriate customer groups. You will be focusing on developing a market for hydroponics and aquaponics solutions for the urban market in Kampala.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agri-business, or a related field can be beneficial.
- Sales Experience: 3-5 Years experience in developing partnerships, engaging with groups, B2C sales, and selling technologies like hydroponics and aquaponics.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and proactively seek out new leads and opportunities. Employment opportunities
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the urban market in Kampala.
