Job Summary:   The Business Development Manager will grow market share, improve revenue & profitability in Uganda and across East Africa. They must be experienced in opening new doors, managing existing customers, and networking. He /She should have evidence of strong selling skills and possess good negotiation skills.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research to evaluate gaps, opportunities, and clients’ needs
  • Developing marketing and sales strategy to increase revenue
  • Meeting with potential clients and growing long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Tracking, analysing, and communicating key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
  • Establishing new accounts by developing and expanding sales through client visits/telephone inquiries/email and electronic communication
  • Selling and generating revenue for the JC International Service offerings.
  • Ensuring Business expansion and increase in market share index through networking and effective marketing
  • Working with the digital marketing team to showcase the services in the limelight.
  • Preparing presentations and pitches for prospective Clients & Regulators
  • Ensuring prompt response to client’s requests and accurate billing/invoicing.
  • The prompt renewal of running contracts Ensure vendor registration with key clients
  • Ensuring prompt and seamless mobilization to sites for job call-out
  • For the company’s business processes & regulatory compliance, tender preparation, packaging, and timely submission.
  • Participating in setting Sales budgets for the division Support the company’s realization of its corporate mission




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Eng. or BSC in sciences or engineering
  • At least 7-year work experience in sales and business development
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal-closing and demonstrated sales success.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, confidence, and presentation skills
  • CRM experience is preferred.
