About Organisation:

The Little Cafe runs a restaurant that serves you from Monday to Sunday. We do free deliveries around Kampala Metropolitan Area.

 

Job Summary:   We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages and other beverages.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other beverages.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee station, counters, and seating areas.
• Take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and presentation standards.
• Stock and replenish inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
