CIC General Insurance Uganda Limited is a subsidiary company of CIC Insurance Group from Nairobi, Kenya that is owned 75% by co-operatives and 25% by individual shareholders. CIC General Insurance (U) is a joint venture of CIC Kenya and the Co-operative movement in Uganda. The company is fully incorporated and licensed to transact General Insurance business. In addition to the General policies available for institutions, corporate, individual and all categories of entities, the Company serves all Co-operative Societies in Uganda along the Co-operative Model.

Job Summary:   As an Individual Life Sales Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and selling life insurance products to clients, building long-term relationships, and helping the company achieve its sales objectives. The role involves working in one of the designated duty stations across Uganda.

Duty Stations:

• Kampala
• Jinja
• Mbarara
• Gulu
• Mbale

Applicants must specify their preferred duty station when applying.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively promote and sell life insurance products to individuals. Ugandan jobs
• Educate clients about the benefits and coverage of CIC life insurance products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
• Meet or exceed set sales targets within the assigned duty station.
• Provide excellent customer service to retain and grow the client base.
• Regularly report on sales activities and market insights to management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with the local market in the preferred duty station.
• Basic computer literacy and organizational skills.
• Confidence, professionalism, and a customer-first approach.
