Job Title: Technician Maintenance (Electrical)

Job Summary: To ensure the proper functioning of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment through regular maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functioning, including regular inspections and addressing any issues that arise to maintain equipment reliability.
- Issue Diagnosis and Resolution: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime, ensuring quick identification and rectification of problems to maintain production schedules and operational efficiency.
- Preventive Maintenance Implementation: Implement and follow preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment, reducing the likelihood of unexpected failures and enhancing overall system performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards to protect personnel and minimize risks associated with maintenance work.
- Record Keeping and Coordination: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used; coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities in a manner that does not disrupt production, fostering collaboration and efficient operations.
- Prepare Monthly Work Plans and Reports: Develop and submit monthly work plans and performance reports, detailing progress and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
- Additional Duties: Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Education Background
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least a credit score (Credit 6) in both Mathematics and English.
Experience
- At least three (3) years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
Skills

- Basic computer skills/knowledge.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance techniques.
