About US:
The Uganda Hotel Owners’ Association (UHOA) is a trade and lobbying organisation that includes almost all of the nation’s hotels, lodges and camps among its members. UHOA has a membership of 450 members comprising hotels, lodges, Motels, B&Bs, Inns and camps among its members. UHOA is the biggest Hotel trade association in Uganda, with members hailing from different regions of Uganda. UHOA members range from five start hotels to ungraded facilities such as homes and camps.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must hold at least a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in ICT, or Computer Science.
- At Least a minimum of two years’ working experience in a reputable organisation.
- Should have an industry Certification from either CISCO, Microsoft, or Oracle.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with Office 365 with specific skills in share Point and one Drive.
- Networking design and operations principles, system intergration requirements and procedures.
- Knowledge on installation, configuration and troubleshooting for operation systems, computer office suites, e-mail and inter/ Intranet.
- Knowledge in website management.
- Virus protection software and identifying, addressing and removing virus.
- Should be result-oriented, self motivated and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and demonstrate team work.
