FH’s primary goal is to end all forms of poverty World-wide. In Uganda, FH is operational in the Districts of Adjumani, Kitgum, Lamwo, Kole, Kween, Mbale, Namutumba and Amudat Districts implementing programs in four main sectors of Education; Food Security and Livelihoods; Health/Nutrition and Disaster Risk Reduction; with the Head office located in Kampala.
Job Summary: A successful candidate will have the following:
FH Association is seeking an experienced Digital & Technology Manger who will be responsible for managing and supporting FH’s digital and technology ecosystem at the Country Office (CO) and for all its programs, enabling their orchestration to realize the value for the shareholders and investors.
This role is key in planning, implementing and supporting ongoing operations and projects in support of the digital and technology ecosystem including hardware, software, internet connectivity, and end-user support. The role includes partnering and supporting digital development initiatives focused on using digital and technology to empower communities, improving access to resources, and enhancing the organization’s impact.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: As the Digital & Technology Support Manager, your overall responsibilities will be
- Enterprise IT Management
- Digital Solutions Management:
- Digital Initiatives and Projects
- Digital for Development
- Champion the promotion of Organizational Culture
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Digital & Technology Manager should have a minimum of at least 5-7 years of experience in IT Support/Operations coordination, digital ecosystem management, device management at a senior or national level, preferably within an NGO or large-scale organization, demonstrated experience in overseeing IT systems and digital tools across multiple regions or programs and Proven experience in developing and implementing national M&E frameworks and conducting data analysis for large-scale program evaluation.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data, Digital or a related field preferred
- A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH Association’s Christian beliefs.
- Spiritual well-being: Demonstrated personal Christian commitment to serving those who are challenged by poverty and marginalization and in full agreement with FH Association Christian foundation and beliefs.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other data management and analysis software.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects and teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights at a national level.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of device management software, digital ecosystem tools, and best practices in data security and compliance.
Additional Requirements:
- Understanding of INGO operations and national programmatic areas.
- Willingness to travel frequently to various Area Programs as required
