Job Summary: The Supervisor Credit Evaluation will report to The Manager Credit Evaluation-Micro.
Main Purpose of the job:- He /She will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating all Micro credit proposals to minimize risk and ensure compliance and timely disposal within the agreed SLA turnaround time in line with Pride’s policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loan Authorization and risk management
- Review and evaluate all credit proposals / reports for accuracy and compliance and approve/decline with specific reasons to support the
- Diarize the inflow and outflow of credit applications and ensure their timely disposal in line with the
- Maintain and keep a record of all files in a complete and accurate manner in line with credit policy and ensure mirror files are complete and
- Approve Micro cases for non-cash secured facilities and cash secured facilities within the approved limits
- Constantly review existing policies and procedures to ensure all lending decisions conform with the laid down policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards and procedures
- Maintain and implement the highest level of compliance in credit policies
- Discuss credit proposals with the Manager Micro and analysts to understand them and identify risk management requirements and possible counter measures
- Provide clear and timely feedback to the origination teams on all credit
- Maintain the highest levels of customer service, insuring that the appropriate timelines are met both to the customer and
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics and other related
- At least three (3) years’ experience in credit
