Job Title: Production Shift Supervisor

Reports to: Production Manager

Job Summary: To coordinate activities in the production areas and ensure everything runs smoothly and targets are met. Oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company’s products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the company, and coordinating a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the machinery is functional
- Make sure that the products and machinery are in line with regulatory standards
- Lead team members Track metrics
- Production planning execution and Manpower planning 2. Effective use of resources
- Production reports & compliances (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Coordination with other departments (quality, warehouse, maintenance etc.) to run the production un- interrupted
- Calculate Asset Utilization & line efficiencies
- Root cause analysis and breakdowns
- Bottleneck analysis & elimination
- Willing to work in flexible/ extendible shifts as per organisation requirements
- Computer literacy skills are must
- Take care of spares inventory of production machines
- Maintain Hygiene & get followed food safety regulations as per laid norns
- Train & integrate new workers
- Transfer products and other objects to and from the worksite on occasions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma / BSc. Mechanical engineering
Work Experience
- Over 2-3 years in a reputable agro processing manufacturing environment
