Job Summary: As a Graduate Trainee – Software Engineer, you will work closely with our team to develop, customize, and support Odoo ERP solutions for our clients. You will gain hands-on experience in Odoo development and integration, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, customizing, and deploying Odoo ERP modules to meet specific client needs.
- Provide technical support for Odoo implementations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth system performance.
- Work on integrating Odoo with third-party systems such as tax systems (e.g., EFRIS), mobile payment platforms (Mobile Money), and communication services (SMS, Airtime, Data).
- Collaborate with the technical team to design and implement custom features within Odoo’s framework using Python, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Participate in Odoo upgrades and migrations to newer versions, ensuring data integrity and seamless transitions.
- Document technical specifications and provide user training on the use and maintenance of Odoo applications.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Odoo and contribute to the adoption of best practices in Odoo development.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or . The candidate must have completed university awaiting graduation.
- Proficiency with the Linux command line.
- Basic knowledge of Odoo ERP and its architecture (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- A willingness to learn and work with Odoo, with a keen interest in ERP systems and software development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
