Women Smiles Uganda, founded in 2018, aims to enhance the lives of women and girls in underserved African communities, particularly urban slums.
Job Summary: Women Smiles Uganda seeks a proactive M&E Junior Officer to support our mission of enhancing food security and livelihoods for women, youth, and teenage mothers through urban farming and training.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Contributing to project evaluation for impactful results.
- Supporting M&E strategy development.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or related field.
- 1-2 years experience in monitoring, evaluation, data collection, or project support (preferably in the development or non-profit sector).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of data management tools (e.g., SPSS, Stata) is a plus.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams and community settings.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills; able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
