Job Summary: Jeen Mata Medisales is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. We are a dynamic company in the pharmacy sector dedicated to providing quality health products and services. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports for the pharmacy.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct inventory and stock management for the pharmacy.
- Handle reconciliation of sales and purchase entries on accounting software such as Tally and Efris.
- Support annual audits and assist in financial forecasting and budgeting.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant in a pharmacy setting is a must.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including Tally and Efris.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, including tax laws and regulations applicable in Uganda.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an added advantage.
