Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively.
- Forecasting: Conduct regular financial forecasts to provide insights into future financial performance.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Audit Coordination: Supervise internal and external audit processes, ensuring all necessary documentation and responses are prepared.
- Cost Management: Analyze costs and implement strategies to improve profitability while managing expenses effectively.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- System Management: Oversee financial management systems and recommend updates or new technologies as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior management and other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- ACCA or CPA certification preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on management roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in manufacturing sector is highly recommended
