About the Company:
The Mukwano Group of Companies is the leading manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the Great Lakes region, producing a wide range of market leader brands in soaps, edible cooking oils and fats, detergents, beverages, personal care products and plastics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a service schedule for electrical systems.
- Allocate work and monitor performance of plant-based electricians.
- Develop routine maintenance checklist for all electrical infrastructure and equipment.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for use and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Liaise with power distribution companies for supply of power; repairs of electrical lines; payment of electricity bills and any other related transactions.
- Perform surveys, prepare technical reports, read technical drawings and schematics, wiring diagrams, and design electrical installations.
- Overhaul and/or transfer electrical assets;
- Maintain electrical consumption records for all the group locations, and assist during the preparation of engineering budgets with inputs for electrical requirements and forecasts.
