Southgate Industries is a leading fruit processing company, located in Kampala Industrial & Business Park (KIBP Namanve). We process pineapples, mangoes, and bananas into puree, concentrate, and other value-added products.
Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods. The role includes managing warehouse staff, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Duty/Responsibility
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate stock records and conduct regular physical inventory checks.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.
- Ensure warehouse staff comply with health and safety regulations, and that all safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Three (3) years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food/beverage industry.
Educational Requirements:
- Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Additional skills: In addition to the experience and educational requirements listed above
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to manage a team and coordinate logistics.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards in warehousing.
