This enables Avagrow to provide the service at a large scale, at cost and in a timely- efficient manner, saving money for both the community and Avagrow.

 

Job Summary:   Avagrow Farming, a leading international company in the agricultural sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the receiving and management of seed, chemicals, and fertilizers in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient warehouse operations and maintain strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, focusing on the receipt, storage, and distribution of seed, chemicals, and fertilizers.
  • Oversee the receiving process, ensuring that all products are inspected, recorded, and stored accurately.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels by organizing, tracking, and managing stock effectively.
  • Ensure that storage conditions meet regulatory and safety standards, particularly for chemicals and fertilizers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Implement and maintain effective warehouse safety protocols, especially for handling hazardous materials.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to all safety and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations for the handling of agricultural chemicals.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management, ideally in the agricultural industry with experience handling seed, chemicals, and fertilizers.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for storing and handling agricultural chemicals and fertilizers.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
