Job Summary: Deliver integrated volume demand plan on rolling calendar year for each fulfillment center/Warehouse, whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that also takes into account the distribution costs. Monitor stock availability and leverage insights from the integrated demand and supply planning to ensure centralized & aggregate demand matches supply, minimize overstock while managing slow moving and potential obsolescence stocks. Creates the most realistic view of what our customers will buy, through interpreting historical sales data and applies differentiated planning strategies to support business decision making.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Supply planning:
Analyze net dispatch requirements and prepare/maintain a coordinated set of supply and deployment plans of finished goods in order to meet customer demand within min/max stock corridors, whilst minimizing the total delivered costs, taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints.
Provide visibility to the warehouse, dispatch and purchasing teams on medium/long term horizons to prepare the price negotiations (purchasing teams) and capacity booking/planning
Ensure smooth implementation of promotional activities and new product launches protecting COF and minimizing write off
Inventory Management:
Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location and with the required freshness
Establish and revise regularly the stock policies for Finished Goods for all stock locations, together with purchasing and warehouse teams. Pro-actively look for solutions in case of deviations.
Exceptions management.
Monitor requirements evolution and determine key issues with volume variance that may impact supply and highlight them to Purchasing and Are managers.
Provide visibility on future supply issue or constraint and support decision making by providing simulated alternative supply scenarios that balance available capacity and demand.
Challenge purchasing managers and suppliers on regular basis to drive optimum FG inventory required freshness level.
Challenge and support Demand Planner to improve Demand Planning Accuracy
Effectively communicate relevant information highlighting all supply issues, detailing impacts of proposed actions and related tradeoffs and ensuring that actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with the Business Planning process and the long-term Supply schedule.
Review and maintain all relevant master data
Ensure proper Event Management related SNP visibility (new product launches, discontinuations etc.)
Contribute and/or drive to key meeting & reviews as required (Demand Supply Reconciliation, etc..). Support and/or drive VMI initiatives
Engage proactively with peer Planners to share best practices, liaise with demand planners and purchasing managers to drive continuous improvement and improve ways of working and efficiency.
Train and support junior supply planners, as needed
Develop, revise and update relevant training and learning material, as needed
Act as a super user and/or expert in different forums (networks, workplace groups…) within own category/market and with other categories/markets/zones
Commercial Performance Management
Selecting, monitoring, and reporting on KPIs, improving business processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Helping the business to meet its commercial objectives using data
Commercial Analytics & Reporting
Conduct data analysis. This entails data curation, summary statistics, exploratory analysis, and other analyses to drive optimization, product improvement, product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Reporting/Data visualization and Automation: Develop reports, dashboards, and other data solutions in Excel. Partner with the Data team to develop solutions as required within Looker Studio and Power BI.
Requirements gathering. Develop user stories and wireframes that address all user requirements.
Work with users to address gaps in data utilization and provide support to address user needs/ queries.
Fulfill data requests from the commercial, customer experience and marketing functions.
Market Intelligence
Collecting, analyzing, and disseminating market intelligence information to support business decisions.
Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
Developing and maintaining databases, reports, and dashboards for market analysis.
Business Partnership
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, identify opportunities to leverage data to solve business problems, and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
Provide data-driven insights and support to help drive strategic decision-making and business growth. The decisions will revolve around supplier management, profitability, revenue growth, discounts, targets etc.
Stakeholder alignment: Support the development and implementation of the growth strategy per business unit.
Measurements / Performance Indicators
All measures and KPIs are applicable for both market and country supply.
Achievement of targeted Out of Stock/Stock Availability Level (from PR for all receiving locations in scope)
Accuracy of the plans on the medium/long term horizons, additional costs due to inaccurate planning
Stock covers within agreed policy, Stock cover ex Origin, Stock service level
Achievement of Freshness targets (freshness of shipment and freshness of inventory)
Regular monitoring of Leadtime (total lead time and components)
Contributes to:

Communication to stakeholders (e.g. Demand planner) on all the major exceptions impacting business (e.g. Demand Supply Reconciliation meeting outputs)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Critical Experiences
At least 5 years of relevant operational experience in one or several of the following areas:
Factory planning, FG Planning
IMS, Import/Export, Vendor management supply call off scheduling
Other Supply Planning positions such as Manufacturing Production Planning & Control (MPS) or Manufacturing Production Scheduling (DPS)
Supply Chain development
Helpful to have had exposure in Customer Service / Customer Facing Supply Chain
Certification in APICS/CPIM will be an asset to the role
