About the Company:
StarTimes is currently operating in over 30 countries in Africa and leading Pay TV Company in Uganda and with its HQ in Beijing China. StarTimes also manufactures TV sets of StarTimes brand with inbuilt decoder and comes in different sizes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the solar sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining re- cords, manage customer databases and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate, and preparing all solar bids, managing the bidding processes and creating important customer relationships for future referrals.
- Sales Coordination: Coordinate sales activities and ensure smooth communication between the sales team and other departments, assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and effective solutions, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Credit Sales Management: Assist in managing credit sales programs, including assessing customer creditworthiness and monitoring payment sched- ules, work closely with the finance team to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Credit Sales Management: to develop and manage credit sales programs to ensure timely payments and minimize defaults, should be able to work closely with the finance team to assess customer creditworthiness.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of solar products, coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Increase product awareness and sales, participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events. with the finance team to assess customer creditworthiness.
- Inventory Management: Assist in training new sales team members on ad- ministrative processes and product knowledge, stay updated on the latest solar products and industry trends.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales administration, preferably in the solar industry.
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of credit sales processes and financial management.
