Job Summary: As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in Excel to analyze and validate large data sets, support maintenance planning, and develop insightful reports. You’ll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy and integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive performance and operational efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros, etc.) to analyze and interpret large volumes of data.
Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets for tracking equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and inspection results.
Develop custom Excel-based tools and templates to streamline data validation and reporting processes.
Generate and present regular reports, dashboards, and data summaries to support project and operations teams.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to assist in maintenance planning and risk management.
Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure the integrity and reliability of data used for decision-making.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in data analysis with advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, VBA, and automation).
Strong understanding of data validation, data cleaning, and quality assurance practices.
Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
Attention to detail with a proactive mindset to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
Knowledge of the oil and gas or engineering industry is a plus but not mandatory.
