Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Finance (No Experience Jobs)

About the Company:
Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Participate in on-the-job training and formal training sessions across different finance units.
- To provide support to the finance and accounting department by managing daily accounting tasks.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in Oracle Fusion Financial Management and other custom databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial report
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/Quarterly closings
- Assist with other accounting projects as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree (First Class or Upper Second-Class Honors) in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Recent graduates or candidates who completed their degrees between 2022 and 2024.
- Candidates must be no more than 25 years of age by the date of this advertisement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving goals and objectives.
- Excellent teamwork, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
