Job Summary:  Responsible for various HR functions including recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, payroll management and reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of HR activities and support the HR department strategic objectives.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate the entire recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verification.
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and manage the performance appraisal process.
  • Work with managers to set performance standards and goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices.
  • Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Promote employee engagement and well-being through various initiatives.

Disciplinary Actions:

  • Investigate incidents of employee misconduct and gather relevant information.
  • Coordinate disciplinary meetings and ensure that actions are in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Document disciplinary actions and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on handling disciplinary issues.

Payroll Management:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other payroll-related legislation.

Reporting:

  • Prepare regular HR reports on key metrics such as recruitment, turnover, training, and performance management.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Executive/Officer or similar role.
  • Minimum experience of 2 to 3 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices and labour laws.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
