Job Title: Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive EHS program that aligns with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation plans
- Monitor compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Provide training and education to employees on EHS principles and best practices
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses
- Maintain records and documentation related to EHS matters
- Conduct audits and evaluations of EHS performance
- Represent the company in matters related to EHS
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in EHS
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that EHS considerations are integrated into all operations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management
- Strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
