Job Summary:  The Drilling Software Training Technician will provide remote drilling and completion operations to the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Before the operation, organize the difficulty analysis and technical disclosure of the operation;
• Responsible for the construction of good models in professional software, including but not limited to hydraulic models, friction and torque models, formation pressure while drilling models, etc. The required models shall be subject to the Company’s requirements.
• During the operation, carry out the 12-hour duty system, monitor the operation curve in real-time, and provide the Company with technical services such as real-time working condition monitoring, drilling time-effect analysis, formation pressure tracking monitoring, directional good trajectory monitoring, drilling parameter simulation and comparison analysis, auxiliary decision making of complex working conditions, and operation risk warning and prediction in time combined with software analysis.
• During the operation, according to the specific technical requirements of the Company, using software simulation and data analysis means, preparing and providing data analysis daily.
• After the completion of the operation, the technical summary report shall be prepared according to the specific technical requirements of the Company, and the quality of the technical summary report shall be reviewed by the Company.
• Based on mastering Landmark, drill works, and other software, employees shall organize unified training on technology and other professional software applications. After training, employees shall improve service quality and be able to apply new technologies to auxiliary decision-making services.
• During the service period, assist the Company in completing the operation support projects in each region, communicate and report to the project managers of the operators in each region as needed to ensure the quality of technical support services.
• During the service period, complete other matters arranged by the Company.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the drilling and completion field, or serve as supervisor, technician, and other key positions.
• H2S protection training certificate for petroleum site operation.
• Safety & survival certificate for petroleum site operation or other similar certificates.
• Good professional English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Experience in using large-scale engineering software, including Landmark, Drill works and other software widely used in the industry, able to use the above software to carry out professional analysis.
• Understand well drilling and completion related and national laws and regulations, industry standards, technical specifications, systems, manuals, and regulations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, such as EXCEL, WORD, PPT PROJECT, etc.
• Have good analytical skills with a high attention to detail and engineering spirit. Be able to cooperate with project team leaders to promote the smooth implementation of the project.
• Full of team spirit, happy to deal with various relationships.
• Be able to work under pressure, hard-working, good at self-motivation and, energetic.
• Good conduct, dedication, honesty and self-discipline, strong sense of confidentiality, good team spirit.
