About the Company:
Kombi Technical Services Ltd is a sole distribution business specializing in Uganda Breweries alcoholic beverages.
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team. The accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income
- statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Years of accounting experience, preferably in [specific industry if applicable].
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP or IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and filing processes.
