Job Summary:   We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, committed and highly talented individual for the role of Associate – Business Process Solutions (5) for our Uganda office. The successful candidates will provide essential support in delivering accounting, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting services to clients. The associates work closely with senior team members to manage client engagements, handle payroll and tax filings, accounting and book-keeping and process improvement services to clients while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in bookkeeping, preparation, and maintenance of accounting records.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain organized records of client transactions and services provided.
  • Assist with general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Support payroll processing services, including salary calculations, tax deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and withholding tax.
  • Work closely with senior associates and managers for the successful completion of tasks.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  The ideal candidates should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration. or related field.
  • Pursuing ACCA, CPA, or any relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, tax, or payroll (internships or previous roles).
  • Experience using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Good knowledge of tax compliance, accounting and payroll processing.
