Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Operator with expertise in the grain milling process to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a hands-on approach to overseeing and maintaining the efficient operation of milling equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that the milling process runs smoothly, optimizing production output, and maintaining equipment to minimize downtime.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain grain milling machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
- Receive hands-on training in the milling process to become proficient in grain milling operations.
- Maintain daily and weekly production goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical and electrical components of the equipment.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and inspection to ensure continuous production.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards during all milling and production processes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in grain milling operations.
- Education: Secondary School Certificate. Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn and be trained in grain milling operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
