Job Summary:   The Senior Quantitative Analyst is responsible for leading complex data analysis projects to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across the company. This role involves the use of advanced statistical models, machine learning techniques, and big data analytics to interpret and extract value from large datasets. The Senior Quantitative Analyst will guide a team of analysts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of data-driven strategies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated statistical models, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that drive business or policy decisions.
  • Use programming languages such as Python or R to conduct advanced quantitative analysis and model development.
  • Oversee the extraction, cleaning, transformation, and integration of data from multiple sources to ensure data quality and reliability with an aim of creating detailed, data-driven reports and dashboards that communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time.
  • Implement best practices in data management, including the use of cloud-based storage, databases, and big data technologies.
  • Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to present analysis results to stakeholders, making data insights accessible and understandable.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on quantitative analysis to senior management and our clients
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in quantitative research, data science, and machine learning to continuously improve the analytical capabilities of the team.
  • Integrate quantitative findings with qualitative insights to provide comprehensive analyses.
  • Mentor and lead a team of quantitative analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating efforts between product delivery unit and other units to deliver high-impact projects.
  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of all analysis and models through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices within the team.
  • Conduct regular reviews of models and analytical processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and data management technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, data science, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading complex data analysis projects. Experience in a senior or leadership role is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of quantitative research methodologies and statistical modeling.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, cloud computing, and data warehousing.
  • Awareness of the latest trends and developments in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, inspire, and guide a team of analysts.
