Exim Bank (Uganda) (EBU), commonly known as Exim Bank, is a commercial bank in Uganda. It is one of the commercial banks licensed by the Bank of Uganda (BOU), the central bank and national banking regulator.
Job Summary: Minimize risks and ensure compliance by independently reviewing and enhancing our internal operations controls, policies, and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and follow up on QA reports.
Analyze QA findings and ensure compliance.
Monitor internal controls and service delivery standards
Conduct preliminary investigations for discrepancies.
Supervise snap checks and ensure reconciliations.
Review online transactions and maintain operational integrity.
Ensure timely processing of audit confirmations and URA agency notices
Manage account openings, closures, and static data changes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the banking industry.
Knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and policies.
Professional certification in risk management or audit is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of enterprise risk management and business continuity planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal controls management.
