Job Summary:   We are looking for a Senior Associate to provide support in our Business Services Outsourcing department. The Senior Associate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients who have entrusted BDO to manage all or portions of their financial affairs.

 

As a Senior Associate, you’ll manage client portfolios, oversee bookkeeping and financial reports, and ensure compliance with quality standards. You’ll stay updated on industry changes and work closely with clients and the client management team to address their needs. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute necessary bookkeeping as well as preparing accounting reports and facts for clients.
  • Review of client accounts and financial statements for appropriate supervision of transactions and placement.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the team and clients on financial reports and follow up on supplemental information as required.
  • Ensure that the Firm’s quality control procedures are adhered to.
  • Keep up to date with the latest accounting, economic, and tax developments.
  • Identify statutory and regulatory changes that will affect own clients.
  • Establish a close working relationship with clients; understand issues & provide solutions.
  • Liaise and communicate with the client management team to ensure a good flow of information, including raising awareness on areas of risk or concern.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in accounting, business outsourcing, payroll, and fund management.

Added advantage:

  • Attainment of a professional accounting qualification (Completed Level III).
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse finance and non-finance teams.
  • Willing and open to take on tasks and challenges provided by the Manager.

  • High level of commercial awareness.
