About the Company:
Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary: The position holder will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and securing research funding opportunities for MRCU. This position requires a strong understanding of research principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue potential funding sources.
- Develop compelling research proposals.
- Manage grant applications and reporting.
- Build relationships with funders and partners.
- Analyze grant application data.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- MBChB; BSN, B. Stat, or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- MPH, MSc. Epidemiology, MMed, or MSc in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in research development and grant writing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of research principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, grant management databases).
